Welcome to

Prairie Rose

Evangelical Mennonite Church

May 19, 2019

When my life was fainting away, I remembered the Lord,

and my prayer came to you, into your holy temple. Those who pay regard to vain idols forsake their hope of steadfast love. But I with the voice of thanksgiving will sacrifice to you; what I have vowed I will pay. Salvation belongs to the Lord!”

Jonah 2:7-9 (esv)

June 4 - Abuse Prevention Policy Training

Our church has developed an Abuse Prevention Policy to protect the children and vulnerable adults we serve from abuse, as well as protect our volunteers and staff from false allegations. Part of this new policy requires us to train all volunteers involved in programs for children and vulnerable adults; even those who may only have indirect or infrequent interaction.

For this reason, we are asking as many people as possible from our church to participate in the training and screening process. This will give our children's ministry leaders the most flexibility in how they run their programs. Please make being at this training session a priority for all the adults in your household. If you are not sure if this training is for you, please contact Nathan.
